Oda Holt Günther (f. 1999) er en norsk fiolinist fra Kråkstad, sør for Oslo. Etter å ha lært å spille fiolin gjennom Suzukimetoden på den lokale musikkskolen, ble hun i 2010 elev ved Barratt Due musikkinstitutt i Oslo. Oda fullførte videregående i 2018 og ble sommeren etter tatt opp ved Hochschüle für Musik Hanns Eisler i Berlin, hvor hun startet sin bachelor med Ulf Wallin og Ning Feng. Hun er for tiden tilbake i Oslo og studerer hos Stephan Barratt-Due.
Hun er både aktiv kammermusiker og solist og har vært solist med blant andre Oslo Filharmoniske Orkester, Kringkastingsorkesteret og National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine.
Oda var finalist i NRK-konkurransen Virtuos i 2018, og har mottatt mange priser. I 2018 mottok hun Øivind Berghs minnepris og stipend, på grunnlag av sitt «veldig personlige og sjeldent modne spill», ifølge juryen.
Oda Holt Günther (b. 1999) is a Norwegian violinist from Kråkstad, south of Oslo. After learning to play the violin using the Suzuki method at her local music school, she became a student at the Barratt Due Music Institute in Oslo in 2010. Oda completed her upper secondary education in 2018 and was accepted the following summer at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where she began her bachelor’s degree with Ulf Wallin and Ning Feng. She is currently back in Oslo and studying with Stephan Barratt-Due.
She is active both as a chamber musician and a soloist and has appeared as a soloist with, among others, the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine.
Oda was a finalist in the NRK competition Virtuos in 2018 and has received numerous awards. In 2018, she received the Øivind Bergh Memorial Prize and Scholarship, on the basis of her “highly personal and unusually mature playing”, according to the jury.
