“Classical and Neoclassical masterpieces enthrall in readings of great immediacy” – The Strad
Vilde Frang ble enstemmig tildelt Credit Suisse Young Artist Award i 2012, og hadde sin debut med Wienerfilharmonikerne under Bernard Haitink på Lucerne-festivalen. For tiden har hun solistoppdrag blant annet med Berlinerfilharmonien og Concertgebouw-orkestret. Hun spiller regelmessig på festivaler som London Proms og Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Som solist har Vilde opptrådt i steder som Musikverein, Wigmore Hall og Carnegie Hall. Hun har dessuten mottatt en rekke priser for sine innspillinger, blant annet Grand Prix du Disque og Gramophone Award. Fra 2020 har Vilde vært en del av Oslo Kammermusikkfestivals kunsneriske råd.
Vilde Frang was unanimously awarded the Credit Suisse Young Artist Award in 2012 and made her debut with the Vienna Philharmonic under Bernard Haitink at the Lucerne Festival. Highlights among her recent and forthcoming solo engagements include performances with Berlin Philharmonic and the Concertgebouw Orchestra. She regularly appears at festivals such as the London Proms and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. As soloist and in recital, Vilde has performed at venues such as the Musikverein, Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall. Vilde Frang’s recordings have received numerous awards, including the Grand Prix du Disque and Gramophone Award. Since 2020, she is artistic board member of Oslo Chamber Music Festival.
